Co-Ed Schools To Become The Norm, Says Midlands Guidance Counsellor

As it stands, 1 in 3 students in Ireland are in a single-sex school.

Co-ed schools will be the norm  in the future, according to a Westmeath guidance counsellor.

It comes following an ESRI report which found two third of students in a single-sex school would prefer if it was mixed.

One third of students in Ireland attend a single-sex school.
